As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I support clients through life’s inevitable ebbs and flows. Using an approach that feels both empowering and safe, we can collaborate to evaluate your needs and set goals to help you live a life that is most true to you. I value the intersection of individuals and their environment. None of us live in a vacuum and the therapeutic process is an opportunity to identify what is in our control and what is not. This awareness can teach us how to best engage in our relationships and communities with a blend of acceptance, coping, and advocacy.
My experience as a social worker has taken place in multiple settings from community mental health to schools. Early on, my work with young people was formative. It is a reminder that, no matter our age, we desire purpose and fulfillment in our lives and on our terms. As a previous Chicago Public Schools employee, I care deeply about working with educators and other folks who prioritize the well being of others through their profession. We all deserve someone to make space for us and that is my commitment to you.
I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as anchors in my practice and receive continued training related to meditation, mindfulness, grief, & trauma-informed practices.
